Baseball's Pete Rose has died.
His career lasting 24 years until he was banned from the sport after it was determined he bet on games. In 1961, two years prior to his MLB Debut with the Reds, Rose played for the minor league Tampa Tarpons, the team winning the Florida State League title.
Rose also lived in Tampa for the first two years he trained with Philly (in Clearwater).
Rose was 83.
