NHC: Tropical Depression Gordon, No Threat to Land

National Hurricane Center Monitors Hurricane Beryl's Activity In The Caribbean

(Miami, FL) - Tropical Depression Gordon has formed east of the Leeward Islands with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

As of the 5 a.m. advisory, Gordon is expected to turn to the North today and away from land.

Currently there are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.

The National Hurricane Center is not reporting any other areas of concern in the Atlantic Basin or Gulf of Mexico.
