Kappy's Subs, the beloved diner in Maitland that's been part of the community for 57 years, announcing Tuesday morning that it had secured a last-minute lease deal and would no longer be closing permanently.
Kappy's closed this past Saturday after not being able to reach an agreement with its new landlord.
The original owner's grandson and executive chef Adam Milsom says Kappy's will reopen Monday, September 23rd."
