Miami, FL - The Miami Dolphins have added depth to their quarterback room by signing veteran https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RSIbEif8h8from the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.

The move comes as starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa continues to recover from his third concussion of the season.

Coach Mike McDaniel confirmed the signing on Monday, stating that Huntley will serve as the backup to Skylar Thompson while Tagovailoa remains in the NFL's concussion protocol.

McDaniel also acknowledged that there is uncertainty regarding Tagovailoa's future and whether he will be placed on injured reserve.

Huntley, a South Florida native, has experience stepping in for injured starters in the NFL.

He previously filled in for Lamar Jackson with the Ravens and has shown his ability to lead a team to victory.

While the Dolphins have added Huntley to their roster, McDaniel remains confident in Thompson's ability to perform as the starting quarterback.

Thompson has shown growth and development in his role, and McDaniel believes he can lead the team to success.

As Tagovailoa continues to recover and evaluate his future, the Dolphins are taking proactive steps to ensure they have a capable quarterback under center.

Huntley's addition provides them with a veteran option with experience and the ability to contribute to the team's success.
