The Indian River County School District says a former Sebastian River High student walked onto campus and into a classroom, becoming "extremely disruptive."
21-year old Alani Palmer was reportedly let in by another student at the front office and started flipping over desks before the teacher and security were able to get all of the students out of the classroom.
Palmer faces charges of trespassing on school property and disruption of a school function.
The school's principal sent a call to parents assuring them the the safety of students and staff is their top priority and the school was taking all necessary steps to prevent incidents like that from happening in the future.
The student who let Palmer into the building will face consequences, according to school officials.
