Miami, FL - A 41-year-old Miami man has been arrested on child sexual abuse charges after allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old girl.
Authorities say Lenuam Gonzalez, a Cuban national working as a laborer, is accused of having a sexual relationship with the minor.
According to police, the victim's mother reported her daughter missing last Friday and later received a call from Gonzalez, who identified himself as the teen's "man" and warned her against contacting authorities.
Despite the girl's initial reluctance to involve police, fearing her mother's reaction to her pregnancy, she eventually disclosed the relationship.
Police say the victim admitted to having sex with Gonzalez twice and provided a positive home pregnancy test confirming she is three months pregnant.
Gonzalez was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious battery on a child, interference with custody, and child abuse.
He remains in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
