Local Lawmakers Speak Out On U-S Venezuela Resolution

Local political leaders speak out as the United States recognizes Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's opponent Edmundo Gonzalez as the winner of the disputed presidential election. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz says the dispute has resulted in deadly protests with hundreds detained. Venezuela's electoral council proclaimed Maduro the winner with 51-percent of the vote. But the country's opposition says its tally of about 90-percent of the votes shows Gonzalez got more than double the support.
