Preps Being Made For Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Champions Parade

The city of Fort Lauderdale rolling out the red carpet for the Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Champions parade Sunday. Vice Mayor Steve Glassman says they're expecting over 200-thousand fans. He says local police and fire rescue crews will be working security along with the state guard. The parade starts at 11 a.m. at Rio Mar and A1A and ends at Las Olas Oceanside Park with a rally on stage. Parade goers should shuttle, water taxi or use a ride share service since parking lots are expected to be full.
