The US Open tees off from Pinehurst, North Carolina today.

Jupiter Island's Tiger Woods is once again looking to break his tie with Sam Snead for most all-time Tour victories.

The 15-time major champion will be teeing off with Will Zalatoris and Matthew Fitzpatrick.

Woods is more optimistic about the U.S. Open after having problems at the hilly Masters and soggy PGA Championship.

North Carolina's Pinehurst Resort expects playing conditions will be more well-suited to Tiger's game.

"It's gonna feel like home," Woods told reporters Tuesday morning. "Hot and humid we deal with every day in Florida. It's just a matter of keeping hydrated and the mental tax the heat will bring − not just on me; everyone will be tested."
