Miami Beach, FL - A 53-year-old Miami Beach man was arrested on Tuesday for impersonating a police officer at the Moxy Hotel on Washington Avenue.

According to a police report, a security guard spotted Enrique Amores De Los Reyes enter the hotel and linger for an extended period.

When approached, De Los Reyes was found wearing a fake police badge and carrying a black handgun in a holster.

The report states De Los Reyes told the guard he was searching for a woman he believed to be a murderer, but the rooms he inquired about were vacant.

When officers arrived, they observed De Los Reyes attempt to hide the badge.
