Kissimmee Police Officer Arrested for Soliciting Minors Online

Kissimmee, FL - A 25-year-old Kissimmee police officer has been stripped of his badge and taken into custody on allegations he solicited nude photographs from a minor in exchange for payment.

The Internet Crimes Against Children unit initiated an investigation after receiving a tip from the 9th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office.

According to the victim's testimony, the suspect, identified as Dariel Quiles-Davila, met the minor during a call for service in October 2023.

Investigators with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and Kissimmee Police Department accuse the officer of obtaining search warrants for the social media accounts of both the victim and the suspect.

The search revealed that Quiles-Davila had "pornographic photographs" of the minor on his social media account, along with evidence of payments and sexual conversations with the victim.

Quiles-Davila was arrested following an interview with investigators on Tuesday, where he was presented with the evidence gathered during the investigation.

The Kissimmee Police Department confirmed that Quiles-Davila was hired in March 2021 and was assigned to the patrol division.

However, he has since been relieved of duty.

Quiles-Davila faces serious charges, including solicitation of a minor for unlawful sexual conduct, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and eight counts of possession of photo/video of sexual performance by a child.

He is currently being held without bond at the Osceola County jail.
