No charges filed yet in the death of 15-year-old Ella Adler who was hit by a boat while wakeboarding in Biscayne Bay. Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission Chair Rodney Barreto says the boat Adler was on should not have been in the sandbar area near Nixon Beach, which is a low speed, low wake zone. He says his agency is now pushing to tweak boating laws to keep people safer, since you don't even need a license to operate a boat in Florida. He's encouraging all boaters to take a safety class ahead of the Memorial Day Weekend.
