Two people injured in a shooting in Miami-Dade County are suing the business where it took place. Yaniris and Miguel Jerez were hurt in the shooting two weeks ago in Doral at Martini Bar at CityPlace. Ferraro Law Firm announced they're suing the bar on behalf of the Jerez siblings, who are still in the ICU.
The lawyers claim the bar was negligent in providing security.
The nightclub is set to reopen tonight. Before Martini Bar Doral opens its doors to the public however, there will be a fundraiser benefitting the daughter of 23-year-old George Castellanos, the security guard shot and killed by the suspect who was taken out by police.
