St. Lucie County, FL - Deputies are investigating an incident of indecent exposure that occurred at the Indrio Savannahs Preserve Park near Fort Pierce.
According to an arrest affidavit, the incident took place in the afternoon and involved a man exposing himself in front of a woman doing yoga.
The affidavit details that witnesses intervened and detained the suspect until deputies arrived.
Sheriff Keith Pearson commended the citizens' actions, stating, "We tell the community to be vigilant and report suspicious activity. In this case, they not only witnessed the act, but also secured evidence crucial to the investigation. The behavior depicted in the video is completely unacceptable."
The suspect was taken into custody but has since been released.
An investigation into the indecent exposure case is ongoing.
