Monroe County, FL - A reality television star was arrested on a probation violation at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office station on Saturday.
According to arrest records, Erik James Brown, known for his appearances on Discovery's "Deadliest Catch," was arrested on two counts of probation violation.
Brown's legal troubles extend beyond Saturday’s arrest.
Records show Brown was previously arrested in 2018 on Sanibel Island for operating a marijuana grow operation.
Additionally, Brown faced charges of domestic violence offenses in the past.
The 40-year-old Captiva fisherman previously crewed for Captain Bill Wichrowski on the Summer Bay.
A Monroe County judge scheduled Brown's arraignment hearing for 9:00 a.m. on April 1st.
