RIDGE MANOR -- Eight people went to hospitals after a crash involving a pickup truck and a labor bus Tuesday in east Hernando County. It happened at the intersection of Cortez Boulevard (SR 50) and Treiman Boulevard in Ridge Manor.
Hernando Fire Rescue says responders arrived to find several people from the bus walking around, as well as two severely injured patients from the pickup, one of which had to be extricated. One of the eight patients was airlifted to a trauma center.
The crash is still under investigation.
