Broward County, FL - A 34-year-old South Florida man was arrested for assaulting an employee with a firearm during a robbery at a South Florida Little Caesars.
Authorities arrested Jake Ryan Lemanski following the armed robbery at a Little Caesars outlet located at 8902 Taft Street in Pembroke Pines.
The suspect, dressed in all-black attire and a black ski mask, entered the restaurant around 10:20 p.m. and reportedly used a firearm to assault an employee, demanding money from the cash register.
After seizing an unspecified sum of cash, Lemanski escaped the scene in a white vehicle.
However, Pembroke Pines Police officers patrolling the vicinity observed Lemanski's attempted getaway.
A brief pursuit ensued, culminating in Lemanski's vehicle colliding with a median wall near County Line Road and the Florida Turnpike.
Following the crash, Lemanski was arrested and transferred to the Broward County jail.
He faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, armed robbery, and reckless fleeing endangering others.
