Naples, FL - Police are investigating a physical altercation that unfolded at a Southwest Florida on Friday, just days before Christmas.
The incident occurred at Coastland Center Mall in Naples, catching the attention of numerous shoppers.
Anthony Williams, who witnessed the altercation, tells NBC 2 News "As I was leaving the store, I observed a woman initiating a physical altercation. I wasn't privy to what sparked the confrontation but felt compelled to record the incident on my phone."
Footage of the incident captured a woman in a gray sweater engaging with another woman wearing a red shirt, while bystanders attempted to intervene and separate the individuals involved.
The woman in the red shirt was filmed tossing shoes across the store in apparent frustration.
Williams tells the news outlet, "The scene was unsettling. Given the holiday season, I couldn't help but think, 'It's Christmas, why resort to such behavior?' There's truly no justification for such actions."
