Man Hurls Chicken at Wawa Employee Over "Undercooked" Concerns

St. Petersburg, FL - A Pinellas County man was arrested on Sunday after he allegedly threw a seasoned chicken at a Wawa employee because he was upset that the chicken wasn't cooked properly.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Daniel Palomino III faces charges of simple battery following the incident at the convenience store around 1:20 a.m. Sunday morning.

Palomino reportedly ordered food, but upon receiving it, grew "upset" because he claimed it wasn't cooked properly.

The arrest affidavit details Palomino's confrontation with the employee about the allegedly "uncooked food," culminating in Palomino throwing a piece of Nashville Hot seasoned chicken at the employee, resulting in seasoning getting in the employee's eye.

The affidavit mentions Palomino being "under the influence," but it doesn't specify the nature of intoxication.

Palomino was released from the Pinellas County Jail after posting a $500 bond.
