(Fort Lauderdale, Fla) -- As jury selection continues in the murder retrial of local rapper YNW Melly, a key detective in the case is being asked more questions on the stand.

Today the defense re-deposed Miramar detective Mark Moretti about evidence on social media the day two of the rapper's friends were shot to death in 2018.

Specifically, Moretti answered questions about a warrant for Facebook posts on the day of the murders involving images in which Melly was tagged wearing shirts memorializing the deceased in this case.

Jury selection in the retrial began in October and is expected to run through December.

Melly, whose legal name is Jamell Demons, faces life in prison if convicted on the two first degree murder charges.
