A trial is underway in the brutal stabbing of a Lyft driver in Boynton Beach.
40-year old Michael Radler faces a possible life prison sentence if convicted of attempted first degree murder.
Opening statements begin on Tuesday and the victim, Tevin Kimbugwe, is expected to testify.
Judge Daliah Weiss told jurors moments after they were selected on Monday that she wants them to be fair and impartial.
"The defendant does not have to testify in this case. And if he elects to not testify, you can't use that as proof of guilt against him."
Prosecutors say Radler was on a motorbike that collided with the car Kimbugwe was driving and when he and his passengers got out of the vehicle to check on Radler, he grabbed a knife and stabbed the man multiple times.
