Man Arrested for Threatening to Shoot Down U.S. Navy Aircraft Over His Home

Marathon, FL - A Florida Keys resident is facing potential jail time after he allegedly threatened to shoot down a U.S. Navy aircraft that flew over his Marathon home this week.

According to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Adam Linhardt, 39-year-old Michael Angelo Robulock was taken into custody on Monday on a charge of threatening a military aircraft.

Authorities have brought an additional charge of threatening to discharge a destructive device against Robulock.

Authorities say Robulock expressed anger over the military aircraft flying over his residence by stating that he would "launch rockets at them if they flew below 1,000 feet."

Robulock further warned, "If these [expletives] keep flying over my house, they’re going to get a rocket."

Robulock's arrest took place without incident.

According to jail records, an arraignment is scheduled for November 29th.
