A man wanted for a hit and run in Palm Beach County found him in an ironic place.
23-year old Jarnado Francois is accused of leaving the scene of a crash in March of 2021 that left two people dead.
After nearly two years of police work linked him to that crime, it was discovered that Francois was already in custody. He was in the Broward County Jail for another hit and run that happened eight months after the one in Palm Beach. That one involved serious injury, but no deaths.
Detectives say the man confessed to the Palm Beach case and he was booked into that jail this week.
Francois will be arraigned for the new charges in a week.
