Fire rescue crews were busy over the Labor Day weekend in Lantana.
There were two boat fires in two days, including one on Labor Day at the Moorings at Lantana.
Heavy smoke could be seen coming from a docked vessel and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue says crews found a 40-foot yacht fully engulfed in flames. Two people on board were able to escape, but were taken to the hospital for treatment.
A day earlier, firefighters responded to a sailboat fire near the Loggerhead Marina along Federal Highway.
Crews were able to put out the blaze on both the front and back hatches of the boat. Nobody was injured.
Both fires are under investigation.
