Woman Arrested in Florida Panhandle for Impersonating FDLE Agent

Cantonment, FL - A Florida woman was arrested after she impersonated an FDLE agent in Cantonment, a small town just north of Pensacola.

Authorities arrested 35-year-old Bobbie Lei Sales last week on charges of fraud and impersonating a law enforcement officer.

FDLE agents began an investigation into Sales in May after receiving information that she identified herself as an FDLE agent.

"The investigation shows that Sales visited a victim’s home and presented a silver badge while wearing a firearm," FDLE says in a release. "She told the victim that he was under investigation and said she would be back in a couple of weeks to search his home."

Sales was booked into the Escambia County jail but was released after posting a $25,000 bond.

She's scheduled to appear before a judge later this month.

The FDLE has expressed concerns that there may be additional victims affected by Sales'.

Anyone who may have encountered Sales is urged to contact FDLE Pensacola at 1-800-226-8574.
