Clermont, FL - A man was arrested on Tuesday after a two-week investigation into reports of public indecency near County Road 561 and 12th Street in Clermont.
Police say they've received multiple reports regarding an individual exposing themselves in public, leading investigators to identify 29-year-old Timothy Metcalf as the suspect in question.
Around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, detectives received information indicating that Metcalf was present in the vicinity of Lake Hiawatha Preserve.
Detectives responded to the nature preserve and conducted a thorough search that ultimately led to the discovery of Metcalf hiding in the marsh.
Metcalf was arrested on charges related to exposing his sexual organs in public.
