The water tower in the city of Lake Worth Beach is getting a makeover.
While the city changed its name more than four years ago, the water tower has read "Lake Worth" all this time. But workers were spotted on Wednesday repainting it.
Mayor Betty Resch says the tower has looked "pretty boring" and she wanted to make it look "more fun." That's why when the work is complete, the water tower will be repainted to look like a giant beach ball with the name "Lake Worth Beach" on it.
