VIDEO: Three Wanted For Hollywood, FL Shooting That Injured Nine

Hollywood, FL - Nine people were wounded in a mass shooting on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Monday evening. The shooting took place at around 6:40 PM EDT near the Hollywood Beach Bandstand. Police say four minors, ranging in age from one-year-old to 17-years-old, and five adults between the ages of 25 and 65 were taken to the hospital. One was rushed into surgery. As of Tuesday afternoon, Hollywood police say three have been released from the hospital. The other six are in stable condition.

Police early this morning released surveillance footage of the three people they believe may be involved.

Police say two people, while not considered the shooters, have been taken into custody on gun charges.

Five guns have been recovered. Two of them were allegedly stolen out of Miami-Dade County and Texas.

Witnesses to the shooting described a scene of chaos and panic. Many people were running and screaming as the shooting took place. "I was just walking down the street and I heard gunshots," said one witness. "I saw people running and screaming. It was chaos." Another witness said that she saw a man with a gun shooting at people. "I saw a man with a gun shooting at people," she said. "He was just shooting at anyone who was in his way."

Police responded to the scene quickly and began to provide medical assistance to the victims. "We had officers on the scene within minutes," said a police spokesperson.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward. "We are asking anyone who has information about this shooting to come forward," said the police spokesperson. "Any information could be helpful." At this time they believe the shooting began as an "altercation" between two groups.

Beaches in South Florida, including the Broadwalk, have seen a rush of visitors in recent days for Memorial Day weekend.
