Man with Loaded Gun Tries to Enter Florida Strip Club Wearing Satan Mask

Tampa, FL - A man was arrested after attempting to enter a Tampa strip club with a loaded gun while wearing a Satan mask.

The 44-year-old, identified as Michael Rudman, was taken into custody after trying to enter the Mons Venus strip club early Sunday morning with a loaded Glock and extra magazines.

According to the motion for pretrial detention in Rudman's case, the security guard who tried to grab Rudman's gun noticed his appearance and behavior and thought that he was planning to harm multiple people inside.

Police say Rudman arrived at the strip club around 1:15 a.m., driving through the parking lot and stopping about 30 feet from the entrance.

Rudman left his pickup truck running and approached the club with the Glock in his right hand and a red and black Satan mask covering his face.

When three guards attempted to stop Rudman, a struggle ensued and a shot was fired.

Manuel Resto, one of the guards who helped subdue Rudman, tells FOX 13 Tampa Bay "I almost went unconscious, but I kept myself. I wasn't going to let this happen. I wasn't going to let him win. He was not going to hurt nobody."

In addition to the loaded gun and three magazines, authorities found several knives and firearm accessories in Rudman's pickup truck.

According to the motion, a year-long risk protection order was issued to Rudman by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office on October 19th, 2022 prohibiting him from legally owning firearms or ammunition.

Rudman faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm while under a risk protection order, and battery, according to records.
