Governor Ron DeSantis giving an update on recovery efforts along Florida's Gulf Coast nearly six months after Hurricane Ian. He says the Division of Emergency Management has secured 800-million-dollars in public assistance. Today, he's announcing 23-million for Collier County, 31-million-for Lee County, 2.4-million for the city of Sanibel and 14-million for the city of Ft. Myers.The 64-million-dollar Florida Disaster Fund has awarded 46-million so far. Today, 3-million will go to the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and 4-million to the small business recovery impact program.
