Miami Beach, FL - A Miami Beach man claims he was the victim of an anti-Semitic rant by a Dunkin' employee, but the fired employee says the video doesn't show the whole story.

Yeshaya Diveroli, a frequent customer at a Dunkin' Donuts location in Miami Beach, claims that a staff member verbally attacked him because of his Jewish heritage.

Diveroli's cellphone video appears to capture the employee shouting obscenities and using racial slurs.

Diveroli claims that the incident, which happened as he was picking up a mobile order, was brought on by the worker's criticism of his first name.

Diveroli discussed the emotional cost of the experience at a press appearance with his attorneys, stating, "I'm devastated by it. I had only gone to grab a coffee, so it made me feel unworthy."

In a statement, Dunkin' announced the firing of the worker involved in the incident, stating "we have zero tolerance for any sort of discrimination, and the language used by the former employee is abhorrent and not typical of our brand."

Alton Rice, the employee who was involved in the verbal altercation, rejects Diveroli's account and asserts that Diveroli used homophobic insults as soon as he walked inside the business.

According to Rice, Diveroli had a history of being unkind to him, and he was merely "matching" that energy.

Rice asserts that she is not prejudiced against Jews or any other minority, telling NBC Miami "a brown queer, I am. I have no right to make fun of anyone in this society, and I don't have any preconceived notions about things like color, gender, or anything else."
