A Lake Worth Beach resident has a lot more money in his bank account Monday.
The Florida Lottery says 52-year old Mohammed Mia has claimed a one million dollar prize in the 500X The Cash scratch-off game.
The man brought his winning ticket to Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, opting for the one-time lump sum payment of $820,000.
The ticket was purchased at a Kwik Stop in Lantana. The store gets a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
