Gender-neutral bathrooms and working security cameras are some of the ideas that come out of a meeting between Palm Beach County Schools Superintendent Michael Burke and LGBTQ students.

The Wednesday night conversation at the Compass Community Center in Lake Worth Beach was organized as a way to make schools more inclusive.

Burke listened to the concerns of students who spoke about harassment, sexual assault and bullying not only from other students, but from teachers as well.

Some of the teens shared potential solutions, which included the camers and gender-neutral bathrooms. No word on whether the school district plans to move on any of the ideas.

Burke says he wants students to know he is accessible and promises the district is being responsive.
