Man With Navy Hat Robs West Palm Beach Publix, PBSO Searching For Suspect

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is looking for the man who robbed a Publix in suburban West Palm Beach.

Investigators say the man went to the customer service desk at the Supermarket near Military Trail and Community Drive and told the clerk, "this is a robbery."

The clerk handed over money from the drawer and the robber left the store.

The suspect is identified as having a tall, thin build with short, dark hair. He was wearing a grey-hooded sweatshirt with “POLO” on the front, cut-up light blue jean pants, white sneakers, a red face mask, and a dark blue baseball cap with “NAVY” on the front.

The incident happened in the 8 a.m. hour on Thursday.
