Venezuelans With TPS Calling On Congress For Permanent Path To Citizenship

Venezuelans living in South Florida calling on Congress to support a path to citizenship for people under Temporary Protected Status. Kathy Carvajal with the Immigration, Partnership and Coalition Fund says the average TPS holder has been living in the U-S for more than 2 decades, paying taxes and contributing to the economy. She says it's not they have to reapply and pay 500-dollars per family member to renew protections every 6-to-18 months. Advocates want Congress to pass the SECURE Act creating a pathway to permanency for the 320-thousand Venezuelans currently living in Florida.
