The U-S is reporting a record high 7-day average of more than 74-thousand new COVID-19 cases per day as a 2nd wave of coronavirus sweeps through Europe, triggering lockdowns. Florida International University's Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Aileen Marty says whether or not a lockdown is ordered in the U-S all depends on people's behavior. She says they never did sequencing on the original virus, so they don't know if the second wave is from reinfections or reactivations. Complicating matters even more, many of those patients don't have symptoms and unknowingly spreading the virus.
