Police: 3 Teens Trespassed At Trump's Palm Beach Estate With AK-47

Three teenagers are in custody after trespassing onto Mar-a-Lago property, and police say they were armed with an AK-47.

Palm Beach Police spotted the 15-year old boys parked in a car around midnight on Friday and when officers approached the vehicle, the driver sped off.

After a short chase, the vehicle stopped near the Southern Boulevard Bridge, just up the road from the resort and the teens jumped out of the car and ran toward the president's Palm Beach estate.

A Mar-a-Lago security guard found a backpack on a seawall on the property with the weapon inside, along with a 14-round magazine. The boys were caught inside the property and face several charges.

Police say the teens didn't realize they were at Mar-a-Lago and had just been trying to evade police.

As for the AK-47, one of the suspects told detectives that he had "found it."
