Miami-Dade Public Schools Begins Phase 2 Of Distance Learning

A new day dawns in Miami-Dade as students are now under the 2.0 version of distance learning. Superintendent Alberto Carvalho says they're now using additional online applications to ensure teachers and students have a more direct connection. Starting today, new accountability measures are in place. Attendance will be taken and grades will count for the 355-thousand students in the county. Carvalho says he knows this is a big transition and parents may be frustrated, but take a deep breath and take this one day at a time. Call and or email your teachers, principal or the school district office if you have questions.
