A Miami-Dade County doctor denies taking advantage of an elderly patient.
Dr. Odalys Frontela is accused of tricking 86-year-old Lazaro Riesgo into giving her co-ownership of his house, which the doctor then turned into an unlicensed assisted-living facility.
Her lawyer said yesterday the charges are 100% false, and Riesgo gave Frontela co-ownership of the home so she could take care of it.
Frontela's lawyer also tells NBC 6 his client did nothing wrong, and she should be thanked for what she did.
