Water Has Returned But You Still Need To Boil Water For Now

Bottled water is still in style in a large portion of Broward County.

Hundreds of thousands of Broward residents should prepare to boil their water through at least tomorrow, but the good news is, they have water flowing through their pipes.

The patch city workers have placed on the broken main is holding and pressure has returned to near normal.

But with a pipe patch holding as crews work on a long term fix, city officials say water pressure has returned to near normal and reserves are being replenished.

That's good news for the President of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Stacy Ritter says beach hotels had many relocated guests returning just hours after the taps ran dry and free cases of bottled water remain available for residents at four locations.
