No Decision Yet On Epstein Bail Request

A federal judge says he needs more time to decide whether to release accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein on bail.

Judge Richard Berman says he will issue his decision on Thursday morning.

Epstein will remain behind bars at the Manhattan Detention Center until then.

His attorneys are hoping he can be released on $77 million dollars bail by putting up his Upper East Side mansion and other assets.

The 66-year-old hedge fund manager is currently being held without bail, after his arrest on new accusations that he abused dozens of girls in his New York and Florida homes.

He's been kept behind bars without bail after prosecutors argued that he was a flight risk.

Also, the case of the South Florida billionaire is the subject of controversy overseas.

Israel's prime minister now wants an investigation into Epstein's ties to former Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

The Times of Israel reported this weekend that Epstein helped fund a company Barak started four years ago, but Barak told Israeli TV he had no idea Epstein was involved with underage girls.
