MIAMI MARLINS TO DISTRIBUTE 1,000 MEAL BOXES ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23

AT 12th ANNUAL HOME PLATE MEALS THANKSGIVING DISTRIBUTION SPONSORED

BY TITO’S HANDMADE VODKA, TOTALING MORE THAN 20,000 MEALS

Drive-thru distribution will take place on east side of Marlins Park, beginning at 3 p.m.

MIAMI–Now more than ever is the time to help one another to ensure our community can celebrate the holiday season. The Miami Marlins and Miami Marlins Foundation, with the support of Feeding South Florida, are providing 1,000 Thanksgiving dinners to local families on Monday, November 23 at the12thannual Home Plate Meals Thanksgiving Distribution sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Each meal box will contain approximately 40 pounds of food, serving more than 20,000 meals.

With safety as a priority, this year’s distribution will be drive-through only and located at the Humana Lot of Marlins Park (1390 NW 5thST, Miami, FL, 33125). The queue will begin at the corner of NW 3rdStreet and NW 14thAvenue.Beginning at 3 p.m., volunteers from the Miami Marlins and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will distribute the necessary items for a family Thanksgiving dinner, featuring a turkey and other food items.
