Lightning Rally Past Canucks

The Tampa Bay Lightning (6-2-0) defeated the Vancouver Canucks (2-7-1) 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at Benchmark International Arena. It was the seventh straight loss for the Canucks, while the Lightning are 5-0-0 at home to start the season.

The Lightning fell behind 2-0 early in the second period before Tampa Bay began to rally. Nikita Kucherov scored twice in the second period - once on the power play - to tie the game 2-2. Jake Guentzel and Pontus Holmberg both scored in the third period and Tampa Bay would come away with a two-goal win.

The Lightning now travel west for a three-game road trip that will begin in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Golden Knights is scheduled for 10:30 PM on October 20th.
