A handful of elite NBA players are preparing to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, and Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat headlined the 41-player pool that was announced on Tuesday.
Heat guard Tyler Herro, forward Bam Adebayo and forward Duncan Robinson also announced as part of the player pool.
This is the first step towards deciding the 12-man team that will travel to Paris.
