Recently reinstated electric scooters revving up the talk in Miami today. Commissioner Ken Russell says they're taking the initial vote today on new safety measures for the new and improved scooter program. The measures include mandatory helmets, reducing the number of scooters operating on streets and having a 9 p.m. rental deadline. The old program ends on January 5th, a final vote on the new program is expected January 13th.
