Sentencing For Hollywood Man Who Attacked Pit Bull Puppy In 2017

Sentencing for the Hollywood man accused of the deadly attack on a pit bull puppy four years ago. Hundreds of adoption offers came in for Ollie, the pit bull puppy, after he was beaten and stabbed more than 50 times before being stuffed into a suitcase clinging to life. He died days later after capturing the hearts of local animal activists. Today-35-year-old Brendan Evans is sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to the crime. His attorney Michael Gottlieb says he's mentally ill and was answering to voices telling him to do this. Evans has been jailed since the crime. Gottlieb wants him transferred to Moore Haven Prison to receive proper mental health treatment
