Miami Marlins + Tito's Handmade Vodka 13th Annual Home Plate Meals

With Thanksgiving around the corner, the Miami Marlins and Miami Marlins Foundation help our Little Havana neighbors prepare for the start of the holiday season at the 13th annual Home Plate Meals Thanksgiving Distribution sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The drive-thru distribution, done with the support of Feeding South Florida, will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 19, providing Thanksgiving dinners to local families. Each meal box will contain approximately 25 pounds of food, including a 10-pound turkey.

For the second consecutive year, the annual distribution will take place at the Humana Lot of loanDepot park (1390 NW 5th ST, Miami, FL, 33125). The queue for cars will begin at the corner of NW 3rd Street and NW 14thAvenue. Beginning at 4 p.m., volunteers from the Miami Marlins and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will be joined by pitcher Sandy Alcantara and Jesús Luzardo in distributing meals boxes containing the staples for a traditional family Thanksgiving dinner, including items provided by partners Pepsi and Goya.

The Miami Marlins and the Miami Marlins Foundation provided more than 1 million meals to the South Florida community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization launched the Home Plate Meals Relief Fund on April 2, 2020, and jumped into action with a focus on addressing urgent food security needs.
