Boat Packed With Suspected Migrants Stopped Along U.S. 1 In Keys

More than 30 suspected Cuban migrants are in Customs and Border Protection custody after being spotted in a go-fast boat being pulled by a truck driving along U.S. 1 in the Florida Keys.

After pulling the truck over, a Monroe County Sheriff's Office Sergeant says he discovered four passengers in the vehicle with three young children.

Since the children were not in car seats, driver Reidel Garcia-Espino, was charged with child neglect.

Two pregnant women on board were evaluated by paramedics.

Federal agents are investigating whether to file additional charges tied to the suspected migrants.
