A brief code yellow at Walker Elementary in Ft. Lauderdale after a student is caught with a gun. The unloaded handgun was caught in the 10-year-old's backpack. Luckily, there was no threat to students or staffers, but it happened as members of Broward's delegation meet with the school board to discuss safety. School Board member Lori Alhadeff says we need to clarify the method and frequency of active shooter drills next school year. No word yet on how the student got the gun or if any charges will be filed.
