Q&A – Critical Race Theory Is Taught As Anything But A Theory Pt. 3

So, our teachers' unions now provide 99% of their money to Democrats. Is that representative of the communities they serve? Teachers’ unions oppose school choice despite 69% of Floridians in favor of expanding it, a number which jumps to 75% when only parents are asked.

Once again teachers’ unions are failing to serve the interests of their communities. And yes, in real-time, the Florida Education Association is fighting for the ability to bring critical race theory into our schools. This despite 74% of us being opposed to it. Clearly, there is a strong track record of teachers’ unions, of which nearly 7 in 10 teachers are members, fighting for and funding the opposite of what Floridians want.

Let’s not forget that the Florida Education Association also fought like hell to try to prevent any classroom education this school year. Had it not been for the DeSantis administration fighting in court for classroom education, schools would have been closed just like all the other states.

It’s about time everyone opened their eyes to what teachers' union's agendas are about and understand that most teachers, unfortunately, choose to be part of the problem. They reject what we stand for and they continue to fund it with our tax dollars.

So back to where this conversation started. The question... Why are you afraid of CRT? It's a THEORY! I can answer by simply stating, I reject the premise of the question. The education establishment’s evidenced agenda consistently runs counter to the desires of most Floridians. You literally fund politicians who are overt Marxists and socialists. Not only does the education establishment not deserve the benefit of the doubt, but the education establishment’s agenda is also currently the greatest threat to the long-term viability of the United States.
